The cityvent app was used as the central digital companion for visitors during the Lower Saxony Day 2026 in Braunschweig. For an event of this scale, it was particularly important to us to present the vast amount of information in as clear and concise a manner as possible

Through the ‘Events of Lions’ app, we were able to digitally showcase, amongst other things, the event areas and themed zones, the extensive stage and event programme, as well as the participating organisations and exhibitors. Furthermore, we were also able to offer our sponsors additional visibility within the app, thereby highlighting their commitment to Lower Saxony Day.

Throughout the entire project, we found our collaboration with dev.house to be very transparent, based on partnership and solution-oriented. Our requests for coordination and queries were always handled quickly, efficiently and competently. Even with last-minute requests, we could always rely on reliable communication and organisation. Our requirements and wishes were not only taken on board, but also developed further in consultation with us and translated into suitable solutions. Throughout, we always felt we had a competent point of contact at our side who kept both the technical and design requirements in mind.

We were also able to actively incorporate our own ideas and elements of our corporate design into the app’s design process. Individual requests were dealt with flexibly. A fine example of this was the addition of a male illustration at our request, to reflect the theme of diversity more strongly in the visual design as well.

We also greatly appreciated the reliability and flexibility shown throughout the entire collaboration. Particularly in a large-scale project involving many stakeholders, diverse requirements and, in some cases, last-minute changes, it was especially valuable for us to receive prompt feedback and pragmatic solutions. We were able to bring our vision for the event app to life together with an experienced and solution-oriented partner, whilst also benefiting from their expertise.

Overall, we found the collaboration to be straightforward, professional and very pleasant. In particular, the short decision-making processes, the quick responsiveness and the willingness to work together to find the best possible solution contributed significantly to a successful implementation.”
